Love free beer, cool swag and making a difference? So do we.
The Collard Corps is the volunteer wing of Blue Collards. We organize a ton of incredible culinary events all over the South — including Peat & Pearls, Barleybrine and the Hoe Cake Throw Down. In each case, we donate a portion of proceeds to a charitable cause we care about, and we rely on a small army of volunteers to make sure it all goes off without a hitch.
Besides helping us do some good, Collard Corps members receive limited-edition swag, gain free entry to our events and, generally, get to hang out with chefs, brewers, farmers and all manner of other awesome folks.
If you like to work hard, eat well and do good, consider joining us. Fill out the form below, and we’ll notify you the next time there’s an opportunity to lend a hand.
We’re recruiting volunteers for the following upcoming events. Click “register” to learn more about each opportunity. Participation slots are limited, so don’t wait to sign up.
Barleybrine | April 4-6 | Pensacola, FL
Barleybrine is a celebration of Gulf oysters and craft beer, benefitting Florida seafood workers affected by Hurricane Michael. We’re seeking volunteers to join us, Goldring Gulf Distributing and other brand partners for this first-year event!
Hoe Cake Throw Down | May 3-4 | Pensacola, FL
The Hoe Cake Throw Down celebrates the history, mythos and meaning of that most quintessential of Southern foods — cornbread — and its liquid cousin: Bourbon. We’re seeking volunteers to join us, Delta Grind and other brand partners in raising funds for Chain Reaction, a youth leadership organization based in Florida.
Peat & Pearls | Oct. 3-6 | Pensacola, FL
Peat & Pearls, now in its third year, is a celebration of Scotch & regional, farm-raised oysters. We’re seeking volunteers to join us, Glenfiddich and other brand partners for the swankiest oyster party this side of the Mason-Dixon line. Ticket sales will benefit marine conservation efforts in the Gulf region.
